Term Lessons

  • Term Lessons are structured as a single, fixed contract for the entire standard 10-week term. We operate on a committed placement model, meaning your tuition secures your permanent weekly slot for the duration.

    • Fee — $750 NZD per term, structured as weekly 45-minute sessions.

    • Policy — Registration secures your exclusive weekly placement on my schedule. Because this dedicated time is reserved entirely for you, tuition is processed as a single term booking and remains fixed regardless of individual weekly attendance.

    • Can I do a trial lesson before committing to a term?
      Yes. You can book a single Casual Session to try things out and also check we are a good fit.

    • Can I sign up if the term has already started?
      Yes. If you join during the first half of the term, your invoice will be pro-rated for the remaining weeks. If less than half remains, you can book a multi-session block for the rest of the term.

    • How do online lessons work?
      We meet via a secure, encrypted video link — with a strict no-recording policy to safeguard everyone’s privacy and comfort.

    • Am I too old to learn guitar online?
      No. As long as your hands and fingers can move, you are good to go!

    • What gear do I need to get started?
      An acoustic guitar, a computer/tablet, and a stable internet connection.

    • Can I pay my invoice in installments?
      No. Your invoice is processed as a single, prepaid fee.

    • Are international payments accepted?
      Yes. We accept secure overseas payments via PayPal or Wise.

Casual Sessions

  • Casual Sessions are available for players seeking flexible mentorship and scheduling autonomy around shifting professional calendars.

    • Fee — $95 NZD per 45-minute session. For convenience, multi-session blocks can be pre-purchased at this same per-session rate.

    • Policy — Sessions are redeemable as needed, at a mutually agreed time. Because they sit outside our fixed-term schedule, placements are subject to week-by-week calendar availability. All pre-purchased sessions must be used within 12 months of the invoice date and remain non-refundable

    • The Commitment — Once a session time is agreed on, it is locked in. As this time is held exclusively for you, rescheduling is only possible with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions missed with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be rescheduled and will forfeit the session fee.
